Night and Shade
Night is the father of Shade, Dream and Star(I'm just gonna call her star for now, I want something that means "The light of the night")
Shade detest his father to no end, as oppose to Dream who has about a thousand mixed feelings for Night. But still respected him as a father. He's straight forward, honest yet mysterious, because he doesn't go around revealing everything. He's more violent than Dream but can't argue with his younger twin. His power( Darkness) supports both Dream and Star. Being the first son, he took it as this responsibility to look after his brother and sister.
Night is mysterious, sly, extremely cunning and tell lies on a regular basis. Also a womanizer who doesn't even remember the names of all the girl he got with. He travels alone and got into many fights, His right ear has been torn off completely when he was younger.

It should be "Mom MISSES you....". I know, it's one of those tricky English things. Bonus points for using "Your" in the correct context. You have no idea how many people I see mess that up.
